I have been to this place multiple times and today was terrible, poor service and terrible food. The guy had an attitude because the chicken sandwich was way over cooked it was so hard I couldn't bite or cut a piece off. The chicken dinner was overcooked and the burger that was requested medium was well done . We will not be back. Time to find a new restaurant. If the guy would not been such a jerk I would not be writing this but poor customer service was the cherry on the top of this bad birthday meal.

My sister and I went for the fried whole catfish dinner. It was excellent! Perfectly cooked, and a nice size. The side salad was exceptional with mixed greens and chopped fresh veggies. I liked the honey mustard dressing. The augratine potatoes were a nice change from the usual potato choices. The fritter that comes with it was huge and delicious! The service was excellent: very friendly and efficient.

Haven't been to the Duck Inn for several years. Had dinner with my wife there last night and we had the best meal we've had on a long time. The food was out of this world, staff was super friendly and perfectly timed. Definitely recommend.

Burgers: 9/10 Cod horseshoe: 8/10 Corn fritters: 10/10 Overall: highly recommended! While out for a drive we stopped in for lunch because we'd heard good things. We were not disappointed. This is a great local dive and diner. Unlike many diners, this was very clean and not musty smelling. The atmosphere was vintage yet authentic. We asked for recommendations and the very helpful server mentioned the burger and cod horseshoe were excellent. They were. We also ordered corn fritters and were they a treat! I would definitely recommend this for lunch and I'm sure dinner would be even better!
