Checked into ER with severe ear pain at 2:45am sat there holding my ear and crying as I couldn’t tolerate the pain until 6:50am and still hadn’t been called back, I checked in with receptionist 3 times only to be told they are waiting on a provider the 3rd time I asked as the first 2 times I asked they said oh any moment now , yet they were taking back patients non stop whom were there with minor cold symptoms that arrived after me! They were very rude and talked over me anytime I tried politely asking how much longer it would be. This isn’t the first time either as my daughter, son and grandchild were treated the same way when checking in here. They really seem to make those with OHP/ state insurance feel discriminated and like they are low cared for! There was also some crazy lady there that was driving the staff and patients insane yet the staff members didn’t pay much attention while she kept sneaking into the back in the ER every time the door opened!

Had our child here May 2022. The staff from Check in to check out was great. The entire L&D unit were kind, understanding, helpful. Our main nurses Kelly & Kate were angels that really made labor and postpartum comfortable, they were amazing. Hospital nice, rooms nice, food good for hospital.. would come back if needed.

Substandard care. My 89 yr. Old father was discharged from the ER after arriving by ambulance. He was diagnosed, given a prescription and plopped into a wheelchair by the entrance waiting for my sister to get him. He was cold sitting there and had to ASK for a blanket. Unless policy has changed, my sister was told she could put him in her car herself, no staff member even bothered to help. Wouldn’t that be a liability issue? I thought staff were required to be present when transferring from the wheelchair to the car. Would be super surprised if anyone even bothers to follow up on this complaint.

With there being quite a few hospitals to choose from in the greater Portland area, so far I have had good results. However, unfortunately, one time my husband did not have a good experience. One word of advice, ( in my opinion I would say) if you are visiting and your visit did not go well, make sure you and/ or family member/members should definitely Express their concerns to the staff there at the hospital and even use Google maps review. I find it very helpful and useful

Probably, but you should contact the hospital directly for questions like that.
Hi Andre, we do not have any vehicle charging stations on our hospital campus yet.
The emergency dept
No, Adventist is part of OHSU.
Can call the MD office and ask.
They should have sent a email to log in/sign up for mychart. Maybe try goin to this (or searching mychart) and see if it works. If not call and ask for the sign up email. https://mychart.ah.org
You need to go in the main hospital door, check in at admitting and then they will direct you
I'm not sure. I was recomended to them via my primary health physician. They do take great care of you.
Don't know it personally but the operator can give it to you or transfer you...
Deffently go back and let them know, there trained to help you.. they will do there best.
This is for Questions and Answers about a Place. Questions like "How long is the average wait time on a weeknight in the Emergency Department?" or "In a life or death situation, should I settle for Adventist? Or keep driving to Providence?" (the answer to the last one is:Keep driving. unless you want the person to die) This is not a medical advice forum. And I am not a doctor. But I am more knowledgeable and trustworthy than the staff at Portland Adventist. The staff that caused my husband to require life saving emergency surgery, which he underwent at another hospital ONLY AFTER being kept on the 3rd floor of Adventist for 4 days and being discharged by a doctor whom (like all the others) failed to read the report done by their own Radiologist, AND TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM. As for "Hormes"? I can guess at your meaning. But won't. Go find a doctor that you like and trust and ask them.
Yes, there are community based classes here.
Multnomah County Vital Records is the place to go, but yiu will need to be the parent or guardian to get it. https://multco.us/vitals
Interesting
I wouldn't. They really suck. They are horrible doctors there.
