Relatively comfortable chairs, much better than the previous courthouse. Better lighting and more legible signage. Friendly staff, and plenty of natural light. A+ for architecture really. A coffee shop would be a nice addition, but there seems to be a nice one near by (40lbs) that is also a bar.

Call to see if they got request to trial for speeding ticket. Get put on hold. Wait thirty minutes in a queue to then get hung up on. Pathetic they don't respond to a sent letter and to call them to check they hang up on you. I guess it's a system that they hope you just give up and auto pay.

They gave my 90 year old grandmother a $65 ticket even though she had a handicap placard up. They don’t dismiss something like that automatically, she had to request a hearing. I was interrogated about the hearing request form because I helped her fill it out and that looked suspicious.

Decent holding music. Wish there was more than one melody on loop. Much better than most state agencies in hold. Almost asked to be returned after the phone call was done.

Marriage Certificates are not filed with the court. You should contact Vital Records at the State of Oregon.
Depends on which of the departments you are trying to contact. Try a more specific dept. number.
No public officials read these questions. I'd give it a little more time in case they're overloaded, then check back by phone.
Hi Randy, You can have your questions answered in-person at the Central Courthouse's Customer Service Area on the Second Floor. You can also call or email your question. The Traffic Department's phone number and email address are available on the court's website.
It is on the first Avenue between Jefferson and Madison.
Downtown Courthouse Parking: No parking is provided. If you drive, parking is your responsibility. We encourage you to take public transportation. Parking downtown is expensive and scarce. However, during the pandemic many garages downtown have lowered their rates. East County Courthouse Parking Facilities: If you drive, parking is your responsibility. We encourage you to take public transportation. There is a parking lot at the East County Courthouse, but the court does not guarantee there will be an available parking spot.
I believe from 9am to 12:00 pm
