2022 Feb 16 WED ~09:30 -to- ~11:15, i was in Federal Forest S.P. for a ramble CW: (E) > White River Trail > Lands of the Giants Loop Trail > West Trail > Interpretive Center > *North Trail ~0.25 mi East > 410 > (E) (*) i went across 410 to continue my ramble on the North Trail - East. After ~0.25 miles - upon encountering the clutter of (~10x) down trees .. i "surrendered" .. i don't want to mess around going through it .. it seemed too dicey for me .. And so i turned-out to return by 410-road to Loc_E where i parked my vehicle 😅 Though there were also some tree falls across those other Trails, they were easily passable. During my ~1:45 ~3 mile in the Forest (and excluding those vehicles passing-by on 410), i didn't see anyone else. Also, i did have lots of fun and very enjoyable ramble despite the Forest "un-manicured" state (the Park is Closed for Winter), it was beautiful in its own way .. and there were many interpretive sign-boards/information to read & learn .. 😊😊😊 Happy Trails and Be Safe 😇

Nice little ride through. There are trails here and there it's just before green water right on the White River it's quite lovely. It's basically in route to other things on your way to Mount Rainier Crystal mountain etc. follow us on YouTube Kody bear and his 2 humans for lots of forest road adventure in this area.🏞️

Are they house broke? 😄 Seriously though, you might try some of the Greenwater businesses, like the general store, Wapiti Woolies, or the Natches tavern.
Me
If I remember correctly, there is a water fountain right outside the visitor center near the bathrooms
Parking is right off of 410 and easy to get to but also easy to pass right by if you aren't paying attention. I dont think you can buy an annual pass but you can pay for day pass. It is just a drop box so likely cash or check only.
No which is a bummer. There are other camping places available not far from here though.
Yes. It is a state park, not part of the National Forest.
