We bought a complete stereo system and surround sound, the speakers were supposed to be the best ,they've blown twice, we bought a soo loose or what ever you called it, we could only use that for a short time and didn't work any more, it was 6 thousand dollars! Now our base just blew up, totally we spent 35 thousand dollars for this system that barely works. Not to mention what it cost to have them repaired! I'm very disappointed with these people! Jim's a very good salesmen!

If you are looking for a quality system and the experience of making that purchase satisfying, Nuts About HiFi is your first and only stop you should make. 90 percent of my equipment has come through them and even with them knowing I was on a tight budget they treated me with the upmost respect and sold me something that I treasure and do not regret purchasing in the least. Recently I made a purchase of a refurbished receiver NOT through them and it was not working. Asked Matt what the problem could be and without hesitation he said bring it in and he would look at it. Sure enough it was a non working unit and they helped me fight for a replacement. Goes to show that even after you purchase from them, you are still family!

This is a visually appealing hifi shop with great products. After auditioning speakers there (which was a pleasant experience) returned home and further researched one particular set of speakers, with the desire to buy them. Turns out that they are not compatible with my more pedestrian amplifier. The same day, I explained this to the salesman that I was working with. He lost his objectivity, became outright rude, and stated “you’re wrong.” Forgive me, sir, but I’m not just an audio nut, but an engineer with nearly 30 years experience and am fully capable of deciphering a simple spec sheet. My low-cost amplifier is not capable of driving a 3 ohm load as per its manufacturer’s documentation. I’m not wrong, you are for losing your temper and throwing your professionalism out the window. He then proceeded to attempt to persuade me to buy the speakers anyway because he ‘knows’ that no amplifier could struggle driving his speakers. Of course, this salesman knows more than the team of engineers that designed my (acknowledged as lesser capable) amplifier. Clearly, he cares nothing about meeting his customers’ needs and only about accessing his customers’ wallets. Am not impressed, and will tell everyone I know the truth about his actions.
