Edit: Isaiah and the team took on my review and made significant efforts to remedy the situation. My bike did eventually arrive and it is gorgeous! I sincerely appreciate the efforts by the entire staff and am updating to 5 stars, which is where I normally consider this store to be. Historically I would've rated this store higher, but the last year has been mostly frustration and disappointment. I ordered a P1 Madone the beginning of May 2021 with a projected completion date of 11-12 months. In December they called to let me know the bike was trending to be a month ahead of schedule. Since then, nothing but delays. And while I understand the UP store is not the one building the bike, they have since failed to provide anything resembling an update without me having to engage as projected arrival dates come and go. Since that 1-month early estimate, the bike has delayed 4 times now. First to on-time, then the end of June, then mid-July, and the latest is the end of July. At each missed date, I have had to wait and then call to see what the updated status is because they no longer reach out at all. I even went into the shop on 12 July to see if it was still expected the next day. They gave me the new end of July date and when I asked for details as to what keeps happening, they said they would call in an hour or two. It's now been 3 days and I still haven't heard back from the store. Trek is still bike of choice, but the customer service at this location has been trending down for me. It's a custom ordered bike, the least they could do is call and say "hey, your bike delayed and here's why." But so far, it's me calling them every time and nothing but vague "covid" answers.

I am an active BMX rider. There are qualifier races for state and the gold cup coming up this weekend. I needed my GT rims trued and everyone else told me over a week and that they were so bad that they could not fix the jump in the rim and true it both, it was one or the other. Trek not only trued them but took out the jump in the rim as well. They said there was a slight flat spot, I do not see it. They roll awesome and you can tell that the mechanic knows what he is doing. The price is great and the job perfect, they also got my wheels back to me the next day. I know they are busy and it cant always be this way but they listened to me about why I needed them back and went the extra mile. Great group of people here.

I am brand new to riding. I went in today to learn about a part I needed for my bike and I can honestly say I had the best customer experience of anywhere I have been. These guys were awesome and hooked me up. I will definitely be back for a tune up! Thank you so much!

The folks at Trek Tacoma are phenomenal! They were extremely knowledgeable and helped me decide what type bike I would use the most. Once I had decided they researched and put one order with a down payment which in my experience is not the normal. Every time I contacted them about status they were upbeat and helpful. When “new bike day” arrived Miles and Clay were outstanding, helping me decide on accessories and then installed so I walked out with my new bike and everything I could need to get in the saddle. From what I have heard from other patrons of this store this is a day to day experience, however, for me, they went out of their way to purchase a vase of flowers for me since I had just recently lost my husband and getting a new bike is source of healing. Their compassion and thoughtfulness will resonate with me forever. Thanks Trek Tacoma!!! I
