Well worth the short drive from Charlotte! I often see deer on the greenway. The greenway ends after 3 miles and you turn around and walk the same trail back (6 miles maximum distance).

Great place to unwind and relax while walking along the river. Trail is really well maintained and restrooms are usually clean.

Beautiful walking biking trail scenic views. This time of year there's enough people that you don't feel isolated but still peaceful and quiet
