Busy but worth the view. Great 3 mile paddle around a clear lake with no motor boats.

The lake itself is gorgeous… I wish the way it was run was a little more user friendly. You can no longer launch from the main boat ramp, so are left with using the south ramp which has very limited parking and is only access for all personal watercraft. The rest of the shoreline is claimed by day use camp sites…so there’s really no where you can just walk down to the water with a paddleboard etc. The little store has a great selection of swag and snacks…but ZERO prices on anything, so you don’t know how much anything costs until you bring it to the checkout. The bathrooms are also super sketchy and dirty. Of course the location suggests “rough” amenities, but we are bordering primitive here.

This is an amazing place. Enjoyed every bit of our stay. Friendly staff, very nice room, quiet & safe... Just amazing!

The friendliest lady and her little dog were working the store. The view of the mountain from the lake is wonderful. Bring your own kayak for now or try later in the summer, rentals not yet open because the dock is still underwater and there is still snow. 5/11/22. The general before says they hope to be renting boats on Memorial Day. Lolo Pass (exact name) was clear from Lost Lake area to about two miles from the northern exit of it where we ran into a foot and a half if snow. 5/11/22.

Not if you come over Lolo pass. There is seven ish miles of gravel. But if you come around the mountain via hwy 35, then yes, the roads are paved.
No restaurant, but the store has supplies for you to cook and the basics, prices are not friendly though
You will need one if your child is 14 years or older. Adults older than that age must have fishing licenses, regardless of where they are fishing. Age limits vary across territories. Fishing licenses can be picked up at The Fly Fishing ship in Welches Oregon. Also try local convenience stores.
It's all the same place. Resort is misleading. There is a general store, campground and they have yurts and cabins. I suggest going as early as possible. There is parking, but if they get busy enough, you could end up having to park outside the entrance and walking down. Not a lot of fun if you are bringing things with you and also to find a nice spot by the water.
We paid $50 for. 2hrs (2hrs.minimum) 3weeks ago.... And $80for all day:)
Reservations are required for cabins, yurts, and campsites.
Ya, it's a great place to float around. Great staff as well. You can also rent kayaks.
Rates vary by type of accommodation. Most camp sites are $30 to $38 per night Rates are listed on the web site https://lostlakeresort.org/camping/
Go to the website and reserve your spot. You can move if you get there and want a different site. But at least you are guaranteed a spot before you get there.
No. The resort has had a fire ban in effect since late July. No burning of wood or charcoal. Only propane allowed.
We were there last month, set up at 9 and stayed until sunset. At 9am there were already many people there. $9 day use fee.
Yes
Campfires are allowed in designated burn pits I the campsites.
We were there just last week, yes they still rent pb's and kayaks, $25-30 per hour with required minimum of 2 hours per rental (i.e. at least $50-60 to rent). Hope that helps!
What i know the minimum is 5 ppl and what i read on the site is extra fee for extra car,but go on the website to be sure.
You can drive past the campgrounds, after you enter the resort area, and disperse camp on right or left. Dirt road that is fairly over grown. You can also disperse camp if you take a right, I think its Nf 13, about 500 ft before the resort entrance. Travel down there a few mile. Water falls and boulder stuff too. Resort has both reserved and first come first serve
Yes,lolo pass is open, but no in good condition, just a little part of the road,4x4 will make it.
In May it's $35-40. Doubles in price the rest of the Summer.
