As a Jamaican American, I have to say this food was not good! I ordered curry goat.. the portion was great but the taste was not like any curry goat I’ve ever eaten, no flavor and real tough like.. It was just nasty. The sauce nasty, the plaintain looked old. The sorrel was so nasty.. I was very disappointed. I just ate the white rice and picked over the goat.. my friend recommended but he doesn’t know authentic Jamaican food like a lot of the people in NC so they just think It’s good. So not true. Definitely will not go there again. Not to mention the lady who took our order had no personality like she didn’t want to be there.

Was in town and keep hearing the ad on the radio bragging about how good the food was and I decided to give it a try and I was so disappointed.......place kinda run down, but that doesn't matter, the customer service was slow and the food wasn't good,had no seasoning, and didn't taste good.....the prices was kinda high and the food wasn't hitting on nothing.

A friend brought me here last night. The atmosphere is such a vibe. So relaxed and a place you could definitely come for good food, drinks and music. Had curry chicken, greens, yams and peas and rice. You definitely get your money’s worth. Had to take home and still have a lot. Everyone there was so nice. Don’t forget to try Rum Punch…my new favorite drink.

First time trying this family owned establishment. The menu is handwritten and hangs where you need to order. I was honored to have "Mama" herself take my order. The service was quick, the food arrived hot and delicious. I had the roti with curried goat and a friend had the small curried goat meal (rice and peas with a side order of plantains). Come here hungry because the portions are huge! The meat was tender and just full of flavor! This isn't your typical Caribbean restaurant it's Mama's Caribbean Grill!
