We went to Mycovios tonight for dinner. It was seriously one of the most amazing meals I’ve eaten in the last couple years. We started with both of their bruschetta options which were mind blowingly good!! My wife had their lasagna which was to die for. My son had one of the specials which was a pork chop served over Brussel sprouts and bacon in a cream sauce, he got it on the side because he doesn’t like sauces. The sauce and sprouts was 100% amazing. I got the other special which was thin spaghetti with a cream sauce with trumpet mushrooms and topped with a steelhead filet and Dungeness crab. Atmosphere was also great, perfect music at the perfect volume. Service was absolutely amazing which is very difficult to find anywhere right now. If you are on the peninsula, you have to try this place!!!

This is one of the best restaurants I've been too. It's small and charming, the decor feels homey, but not in a try hard way. We had the kindest, most charming waiter I've ever had in a restaurant and every joke he had, was ACTUALLY funny, loved him. I had their special of the day which was rock fish with thin spaghetti and trumpet mushrooms, and it was such a genius pairing and so rich and delicious. Even the lemonade I had was some of the best I've ever had!!! Will be telling all of my family and friends about this place!!!

My partner and I were in town for the weekend and wanted to see what Long Beach had to offer. I found this restaurant searching through Google Maps and immediately made a reservation through their website. Inside there were 4 tables. All staff members were masked up and there was a barrier at the host table. Hand sanitizer at each table. I felt really comfortable dining indoors here. Service was amazing, with both servers striking up a conversation with us, which made us feel very welcomed! We ordered a salad, I can't remember the name of it, but it had crab meat and was delicious! We also ordered the steak bruschetta, it was addictive and went fast! We ate both so quickly we didn't get pictures. For our entrees, he ordered the Cioppino and I ordered the special for the evening - halibut and asparagus risotto. They were both so incredibly delicious. Everything was beautifully seasoned. Halibut was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was perfectly creamy and rich. I wish I could eat it every day. Dessert was amazing too. I had the rhubarb and caramel Pana Cotta and he had the tiramisu. We both left full and very happy. Overall, I would recommend this place for elevated yet unpretentious Italian food. I will be back every time I visit this beautiful town.
