I have been in Surfside since approximately 2003 and absolutely adore where I chose to purchase my home. Was happy here until 2021. There are a lot of problems here within our community. I would suggest anyone who is looking into moving into our Surfside area please, talk to your neighbors and read every single rule, regulation, and covenant we have. We have a lot of issues here. Almost every single rule regulation and covenant we have was written somewhere between 1965 and 1980. It does not deal with the community we have today.

Surfside Estates is a great place to live! On the northern end of the Long Beach peninsula, we enjoy clamming, oystering, fishing, bird watching, hiking and so much more Surfside HOA provides amenities at a fraction of most HOA dues with maintained beach trails, cabanas, lake/canal fishing, a water system and much more. Many of us have caught the "green flash" as the sun dips below the blue horizon; we've watched a giant harvest moon hang so low above the ocean, and we tighten down the hatches for a good ole' southwestern rain storm. Daily walks to the beach reward us with shells and driftwood and oddities that wash ashore. Can't beat this SW corner of Washington for an ocean get-away or permanent home away from the crowds.

HoA full timers are selfish and make life hell for part time home owners. Sold my house and will never look back. Plenty of other beautiful areas to choose from.
