Great service. I notified the post office a few days in advance about a live order coming in. They took my name, number, and address. When the package arrived, they held it at the office and called me immediately. Always a good thing as DOA's are never a good thing.

It can be a very polarizing subject when you mention the post office and it seems that people tend to fall pro or con with little middle ground. My experiences so far have been excellent going in to pick up my employers mail and packages even when we fill up bags the counter help is awesome. Both women are outstanding every time I walk in the door. Helpful and courtesy out the frame! I even go in now to mail packages and letter on my own dime and have not had a bad experience. I go into the office couple times a week and so does another employee and we have always been treated well. It seems the problems we have had are not related to the front line customer service but with who ever is carrying the mail. Case in point: I had a package with a shirt and some pictures in it. Envelop clearly marked fragile and pictures inside and written all over please do not bend. How do you think I found it in my house mail box? Yeah mangled and it does no good to complain even if you could catch the person that did it to you. Second I had a mail carrier in a white Jeep pull off a side road onto 395 while I was traveling 55 MPH and force me to go into the opposing lane of traffic to go around him or hit him. The guy even had the audacity to give me the dirty look and gestures when he literally forced me into the other lane that or go into the ditch. Truck marked postal carrier all over it...so yeah it’s really hard for me to say anything nice and I can see where the carriers may not survive or have jobs down the road. Another case in point is that the Mail carrier for some reason shows up to our office with other addressees mail...like not even close to our address and when I try to stop him and tell him he blows me off....yet he has done it several times as if I am a part time mail carrier and should deliver other agencies mail...not cool... I have been told by other employees very similar things as well about our carriers....kinda hard to justify an agency when they make it so easy to dislike them and take your money elsewhere.

ZERO STARS. This post office has the worst customer service people in charge of anywhere I have ever lived (small towns all over the USA). Their Priority is NOT YOU! I am disgusted with the Colville USPS! They not only continue to hurt me personally but also hurt hundreds of other people and my business by playing their unacceptable games with peoples mail! Colville USPS Priority NOT YOU!

No matter if you go into the post office or call them, it is a horrifying experience. I have tried talking to our post man about why i dont receive half of my mail. He response with yelling and threats of sending the rest of my mail back to send........ Key word "rest" of my mail, as in he has been send back all of my important mail. I have called avista, my bank, my employer all have verified that they have gotten back all my mail. Moved and no forwarding address. I still get the magazine's and unimportant mail. Whatch out for the old man with the glasses for his ego is the biggest thing about him and he loves to throw it around.

I don't know why they would say that but a registered letter means only that you could have received it and you must have identification to receive the letter no matter what that's why it was sent registered
