Enjoyed this place very much. The owner is Thai and has selected some very proficient chefs that are dedicated to cuisine from their respective countries. The food was fresh, clean tasting and served with care. Generous portions and plenty of "check ups" from the wait staff. This is far above the typical "Asian buffet" places spread throughout the U.S. Enjoy the sample trays that are offered to experience a more traditional taste of each Asian country represented.

Friendly, delicious and my order has always been correct while being ready in time. I have never eaten inside but the interior is a nicely decorated Asian eatery. The staff from phone calls to in person communication has always been friendly. The sesame chicken is my favorite dish, the chicken is not overly breaded and the portion is generous. Recently I had the shrimp Lo-Mein and the flavor was delightful. The vegetables were lightly cooked and the portion was again, generous.

I'm originally from Thailand and the Boat Noodle Soup is my favorite. I had a crave for this dish for years, since I moved to NC a few years ago. Chai's Bistro made my dream come true. Their Boat Noodle Soup tastes very authentic, fragrant, perfect flavor. Also the staff is super nice. I totally recommend this place!

Well…a miss for me today. Was really craving some good pad Thai. This was not it. Sauce was WAY sweet like a jar you buy and through on noodles at the grocery store. One green onion and no cilantro. Just kinda blah. I added some soy sauce to try to cut the sweet. Noodles were mushy, I love rice noodles for the firmness and it was just yuck. Shrimp were bland and tasted…well..just like boiled shrimp with no seasoning. In a dish that cost them virtually nothing, the veggies should be plentiful and fresh. The whole dish was a bust. The hot and sour soup was great although I asked for crispy wontons with it and not those fried rice noodles that are usually a garnish under the dish. They literally turned to foam when you put them in your soup. Maybe they don’t know what crunchy wontons that usually come with hot and sour soup are. I had never gotten pad Thai here before and in fairness I have gotten other things in the past that were good. Hence the 3 stars vs. the 1 that this meal was. I’ll give another try but that’s about it. If you are a pad Thai lover, pick another dish!
