The waitress was excellent. I love that it was right on the ocean. The only issue is the food isn't the great. My seafood potato was amazing but my friends dish didn't have much flavor and didn't taste fresh. They did give her money back for that thankfully. Food flavor could definitely improve but a great place to eat.

We just left. We were visiting from out of state and like many others the restaurants in either direction had 30-40 min wait. We really wanted to go to Ruddy Ducks. We didn't want a wait, so walked to this one. No wait lots of tables. Big mistake. Have patience and go somewhere else. The hush puppies weren’t hot, butter is not melted. The shrimp Im sure was store bought frozen. I think they they boiled the shrimp from the frozen state. The shrimp were rubbery in very watered down butter sauce, no seasoning at all. She said she would take it off the bill, so she took it back yet still charged for the 1/2 eaten salad. RUN !!

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and a generous menue. I had she crab soups, fried okra, and grilled Mahi . The Shecrab soup was bland and tasted like a packaged or canned bisque. The Mahi and fried okra was good. Other choices were good also-fried oysters, fish tacos, crab cake.

Historic restaurant, whose name was fun to read about. Hush puppies for the table. Fried oysters were incredible and peel and eat shrimp made for an awesome lunch.
