I started taking beginning drawing class in February and now I'm also taking beginning watercolor class. I love this place. Barbara, the owner is a great teacher and fabulous artist. Carolyn, my watercolor teacher has me doing things I never believed I could do! Their approach to teaching is to encourage and instruct, not criticize. The energy is so good there, as are the people who take classes with me. Just drop by and see the art on the walls - all done by local artists and students. It's a wonderful, creative space and I love it!

This place has every art supply you can imagine and it makes it so easy to come in and try new things without having to buy a ton of your own art supplies that you might not ever use again. In the classes all of the supplies are provided and it's the most freeing experience I can think of when it comes to getting reacquainted with Art or experimenting in new media and trying new things. Barbara who runs the business is so artistic and creative and is a fabulous teacher. This place is truly a treasure and I come as often as I possibly can.

The cost is $25 per child with a $250 minimum. That includes art project and materials, you supply food, cake and beverages. $35 each with $350 minimum if we supply food, cake, etc.
Yes, our Saturday morning watercolor class is a beginner class.

Hi Sarah, Beginning Watercolor is ongoing and you can sign up at VAS for the last 4 weeks of the May/June session starting on Saturday June 1st at 10am.
