Ithaca Bakery’s Tripphammer location is just as good if not better than their location in Ithaca on Rt 13. There’s plenty of seating, a lot quieter than the old location. The food is as interesting and diverse as it has always been. Delicious

Great food, I love the Vegetarian, they were very accommodating for making a kids temperature hot chocolate and honey toast for my little one.

I really enjoyed this outpost of college town bagels! Their coffee is high quality and flavorful. I had the zap panini with turkey avocado chipotle and mozzarella. It was very good.

Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Waited 30 minutes only to find out it had just been sitting back by the registers for 15 mins. Opened the sandwich and it was completely soggy and gross. I showed it to one of the girls working and she said “ sorry that’s just how it’s made”. Visiting from out of town and can’t say I’m impressed for what’s supposed to be a great place to get food.

We are! We are at 50% indoor capacity plus many outdoor tables.
Given your description, I'm guessing the place you visited was Hal's Deli on Aurora Street which, unfortunately, is no longer in business. But we'd love for you to try ours (400 N Meadow St or Triphammer Marketplace) and compare.
They do make them, but we eat there for lunch daily and sometimes they have them and sometimes they dont! Maybe call ahead..
