Not going to lie, I was hesitant to get a room because of other reviews. Area is definitely sketchy. I checked in after midnight but didn't have any issues. My room was clean, no bugs, no crazy smells. The curtain situation is a bit odd...sheer curtains and no way to block light/creepers. Room was quiet other than someone practicing their... pogo stick skills.. above my room. 😂

Security door wasn't secure, luckily what I had thought was blood drops was just red paint. Saw a naked man wrapped in a sheet walk out the door and flash my group. Pool was closed. Do not disturb on door got disturbed. Front desk staff was nice. Parking area sketchy. The smell of Marijuana filled the air. Sticky carpets in room mold, rust and grim in bathroom.

+++ Breakfast was good and parking was easy to find. The bed was comfortable. The room was somewhat modern. The daily rate was affordable. -- The room and the hotel is a bit run down. Place needs maintenance. Washing machines were not working and front desk was overwhelmed by the amount of people.

Positive: Clean room. Staff was great. Good breakfast and coffee Negative: Someone was in the parking lot playing a stereo at 1 am for about a half hour but this is not really a reflection on the hotel. Hallways smelled of marijuana smoke but my room was fine.

No more entertainment at this bar. We were told were not the right kind of people this bar wants. We are Boycotting this place!
I would say 10 to 15 minutes. The All American Expressway/Owen Drive is the road that runs in front of the hotel & that road will take you straight onto the base. If U don't have a post sticker on your vehicle, make sure everyone in the car has I.D. becauce they will check it.
I stayed at the Baymont Inn. I reserved & paid for my room in advance through Priceline. I have stayed at several Baymont Inn before from Jacksonville, FL to Virginia Beach, VA & I was never asked for a credit card to charge for accidental damages at check in until I stayed at the one in Fayetteville, N.C. I was told they would charge $50 on my card & refund it back 3 days after I check out. If U wanted a hot breakfast U had to pay $5 for it, it wasn't included in the cost of the room. The breakfast & the ceedit card deal was the 1st for me for a prepaid reserved room.🙁
