3 days ago, we took our kitty in with symptoms of a urinary tract infection, not knowing what to expect from an emergency vet. They were really informative when we called, and explained the check in process. We knew there would be a longish wait time, and there was, but a tech came out to take a quick look at our kitty. The receptionist updated us during our wait time to let us know they were stabilizing a critical animal and she let us know what our place in line was. Once inside, they were really quick about the exam. We were presented with a diagnosis and several ways to go about treatment. We left feeling great about the care she received and with some great pointers about getting a cat to swallow pills. The best part was a follow up phone call today to check on our cat. They were caring, affordable and overall a good experience during a stressful time.

My fiancé and I take in elderly pets, so we have had our fair share of visits to Parkway. The staff are always professional and compassionate. I know they always have the best interest of my pet in mind. When I called and said I was on the way with my seizing dog, they had staff waiting in the parking lot to carry her in and treat her as quickly as possible. They have always provided reliable and quality care- rain, shine, busy, or slow.

Sadly, my poor fur baby had to be sent to doggy heaven on my first visit here. However after meeting the staff and how they treated my best friend in her last moments were absolutely amazing! Not only did they treat her with respect and empathy but they made sure I was ok in the moment and gave me time alone with her to say my goodbyes. After picking up her remains from Pet Angel, I was in tears at how nice and considerate they are. Thank you for making a very hard time in my life a little easier to go through.

Compassionate, caring staff. A full report of procedures, tests and overall health of our newly adopted rescue dog was provided. Nobody likes to use an ER Vet especially on Christmas Day but so glad for Parkway, they saved our dog's life.

Martin, thanks for reaching out. I apologize, we do not provide that service. As an emergency facility we do not provide any elective procedures. Our focus is on the urgent care and emergency emergency needs of the Lakeland community.

My dog is panting and roaming which is unusual for her. She is clawing at use. What could be the matter?

Unfortunately we are unable to give medical advice without performing a physical exam and potentially running diagnostics. If you are concerned about your pet, please have her seen by a veterinarian.
