Enjoyed our time here. The campground is nice. The store has a nice selection. We purchased beer that had gone bad, and we had no issue returning it. The employees are nice and helpful.

Nice, campground. Loved the dog run very well kept, actually all the landscaping throughout the park is well kept. The early arrival penalty is a little much. I'd understand if we came in 4 hrs early but an hour and you're charged a $3 fee.

Campground is well kept. Short drive off the interstate. Big rig friendly. Nice spacious camp sites. The only problem was all the vehicle noise close to the road. Would still recommend it as a nice place to take the family. Also great bike and walking trails.

Very nice drive through site on the bank of the Swatara Creek with full hook-ups. Bought a quick dinner from the campgrounds food service to ease the settling in. The wifi was better than most. Really loved staying here.

Please call the office anyday from 7 AM to 7 PM to check on monthly cost & availability. We rarely have monthly sites available.
Not sure this was my first time there. Loved it, I'll go back soon. Sorry I can not answer your question.
No. KOAs are open to all campers. Your can purchase a KOA value Kard, which gives you a 10% savings when you camp at any of the over 500 KOAs in North America, but it is not required.
Yes they are
No. Jonestown/Hershey KOA is not a public launch/take-out. The public launch is at the Lickdale Trailhead which is located off Monroe Valley Dr. We provide rental kayaks & tubes and those who have rented from us can take out here but NOT the general public.
We were able to check in late, I just let them know what time we were coming. If the office is closed I do believe they can accommodate you
The campground does allow tents. And yes, some sites have electric & water. Tent area most shaded, in back (farthest from traffic, most quiet section of campground) but still rather short walk to bathroom & creek.
No, we currently do not have seasonal sites available.
Seems to me that I paid $45 to $48 for a night. Pull through site.
This is not a public park. This is a campground. Jonestown has a very nice playground if you want to take your kids someplace free to play
All Well-behaved dogs are welcome. While here, they must be on a leash at all times except when in the dog park. We are asking the pet fencing is not used on site, rather put your dog on tether, or keep leashed.
