Are you kidding me? A cool place with excellent staff, excellent food, AND excellent beer?? Throw in pretty decent prices and you've got a Waynesboro Winner! Yes, it is that good. We went after enjoying the Grand Caverns, up the road in Grottoes (check that out, too!) We rolled in after temps in the 90s already required a cold beer and hot burger. We got both and loved them! Do yourself a favor, drop in and enjoy! BTW, around lunch, this place gets packed!!

The modern Pub is located in downtown Waynesboro. There are two parking lots close by with just a 2 minute walk. Met my friend there for lunch. She ordered a chicken wrap, which she loved. I got the salmon sandwich with bacon and it was delicious! Salmon was cooked just right, wasn't dry. I chose a bun, rather than the jalapeños bread it comes with. Sides were their home made potato chips. They make them on premises fresh every morning. I recommend trying those!! The waitresses were super attentive. Restaurant was kept neat and clean.

I don’t come to Waynesboro often but a special trip was in order after doing business with the River Burger Bar for the last year+. From first glance this may look like a normal bar but the kitchen is cranking out some serious flavor. I have nothing but positive things to say about our meal. Everything we ordered was executed nearly to perfection. By far one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Needless to say we’ll have to find more reasons to come to Waynesboro

We have been coming here since they opened. It's our favorite place to go on the weekends. Their burgers are literally the best in town. The fries and chips are homemade and seasoned perfectly! If you're looking for an evening of drinks and Shawn is behind the bar, then you know he will treat you right! They're just the perfect amount of strong and delicious. If you're looking for a small super friendly and homey bar and restaurant then this is definitely a gem to check out.
