Super friendly loved how Irene treated us made sure we had everything in our room. The room was very clean and comfortable kids and family enjoyed the experience here beautiful location. Definitely going to come back and recommend this place

Irene made our stay at El Meson great! She is so nice and ALWAYS makes you feel welcomed. The rooms were clean and relaxing with microwave, coffee pots, and mini fridges in each room.There's a playground on sight for the kids. The river runs right behind the hotel so we were able to walk in the cool, fresh, water. We seen so many deer, even walking through the parking lot, it was amazing. Also the lodge is close to restaurants, gas stations, and a grocery store which is convenient for anything you may need. We will definitely be going back and I recommend El Meson Lodge to anyone wanting to get away & have a nice relaxing vacation spot to go to.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious although very disappointed with cleanliness and accommodations in rooms. No air conditioning in room. Just a standing fan. The beds were not cleaned properly. There was soiled paper towels bunched between the blankets. The toilet was dirty and clearly not wiped down at all. The bathtub had hair bunched up at the drain. There was no remote for TV. No coffee cups for coffee maker. Very very disappointed for the price we paid.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. Irene is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, she made sure we were comfortable and was attentive to all our needs. The room was simple, clean, and well furnished with a warm, comfortable, home vibe. There's a small park next to the hotel for kids to run and play, tables for families to gather, several spaces complete with RV hookups, it's a few hundred feet from the highway which makes for a quiet stay, and it's next to the river which is just gorgeous! Compared to other hotels in the area, this one definitely takes the cake. We will 100% return in the future if we visit again.
