Everyone was very nice. Even stopped and talked to the pilot after disembarking. It was a very pleasant experience for a person who does not like to fly.

The little Paine Field airport is one you should consider if you are flying into or out of Northern King County. It is small, but comfortable and well managed. It is served by only Alaska Airlines and they do a very good job overall. Finding a flight that makes it worth the change from using SeaTac has generally been easy for me. I will, however, still comparison shop the two airports when flying into the Seattle area.

I booked a flight from Alaska Airlines to Tucson AZ from Paine Field Everett WA I live in Marysville and rather than catching the Airporter to Seattle thought this would be a good deal WRONG! The flight from Everett was cancelled and rebooked for 7 hours later out of Seattle (SeaTac) I got a ride to Seatac (some folks I saw there had actually had to get a taxi to get them the 38 miles to SeaTac at almost $100!) Just got back from Tucson yesterday and contacted Alaska for a credit back to my Visa for the difference from flying out of SeaTac instead of Paine Field After 45 minutes on the phone They gave me a $75 voucher with Alaska Airlines which I will NEVER fly on again!!! What a fiasco, and absolutely the POOREST customer service I have ever had!!! +
