Don’t even bother with this place. Everything that people have said about them is true. Throw away all your hopes and dreams of working in any nursing career here in Oregon. It’s not going to happen.. well maybe not now but definitely in 6 months to a year when you finally get approved (but then again who knows that seems like too much of a close timeline.) They are in literal desperate need of nurses and CNAs in the hospitals here but OSBN is taking their sweet time approving and transferring people over. Honestly I’m at the point where I’ll personally come down and work for them for 6 months just to help with the understaffing. But seriously you’re going to be waiting weeks to months just like everyone pointed out to get approved. Make sure EVERYTHING is attached to your submissions because it’ll push you back EVEN MORE. So so sad. They should really fix the short staff situation, it’s definitely not fair for the workers. No one should be overworked. They need to send them more staff members because how are you not noticing that there is a huge problem here? Anyways, wish you all the best! UPDATE a week later… still nothing.

Please someone pray for this Hot Mess! I personally drove to Oregon and walked into this building.... And the parking had only 2 cars present and 2 people in the entire building..... That is it.... Those are probably the only people for the ENTIRE BOARD! I couldn't even be mad at them..... I'm trying to figure out why are they still here. And they were seriously working hard.... The guy there told me that they are 3 months behind. I did my best not to get upset because i really want my application to be reviewed. I'm sad to say but it is the truth they are really doing the best they have with what they have. It is a sad 😢.

I have been trying to contact them with a question about my license. I have paid thousands of dollars to these people over the years and they cannot even bother to answer the phone. Since the board is supposedly overseen by our wonderful governor, I guess that I shouldn't be surprised.

I understand that I am unable to get an estimated date for the review of my application. But every time I’ve tried to reach out I am shut down. Everything has been submitted, according to the website they have not verified my licensing in my home state even though this has been paid for and sent. There has been no movement for months, no updates whatsoever. When I send an email requesting information the responses are abrupt and always refer me back to the website. They were more than happy to take my money immediately though.
