I had no idea these guys helped with sparrows... They DO and it saved a life a couple weeks ago when I gave them a call. In my backyard I found a baby sparrow all by itself in the grass. I had been out of town and the grass had grown to at least 4". Fortunately for this little guy, I barely noticed him before getting my self-propelled mower out to get things trimmed up. Animal control was quick to come out and very polite/courteous as they worked to relocate the baby. I took off one star as they never followed up on the issue after leaving.

Animal control never responds and never seems to help people. All the trouble animals and all the animals in trouble in my neighborhood still need to be dealt with. So far Aninal Control hasn't even answered any calls or reached out to anyone who has left messages with them from my neighborhood and many others. Their department seem like a joke, just like the DMV, guess our taxes are paying them to not care about doing their jobs.

We have had two occasions to call animal control in the past month, both times we had a response within hours. Yesterday we had an injured/sick adult raccoon in one of our fields, with dogs on the property it was a scary situation. Animal control was quick to respond and remove the animal. They are always professional and easy to work with. Thanks for doing a difficult job, we appreciate your work.

Not worth even calling if you have an issue. They will not respond. Called reguarding a neighbor who had 58 chickens & a couple turkeys. The number wasn't so much the issue and we actually loved hearing the birds... however the birds were left out at night, birds kept being killed each night and the other birds were eating off the dead ones. The birds feed bag being left out in the open not stored in a container also brought in a huge population of rats and the smell had grown to a horrendous level to the point we could no longer enjoy our back yard. We called due to the horrible conditions the birds were being subjected to. Nothing addressed by animal control even though we had photos & videos of the birds eating the dead ones, a coop that could not house them all, and a space that hadn't been mucked in at least a few months. We were even able to document one dead bird that had been left out with the rest of the flock for 3 days. Which means for 3 days the neighbour either did not feed or water the birds or they openly neglected to remove the dead bird from population. We never even got a call back. The neighbour ended up moving and sold their flock but the animal cruelty was never addressed. Then I called about incessant barking that lasted hours. I could take 15-30 minutes of barking but it had been over 2 hours that started before sun up with no end in sight . They expected me to address the issues with the neighbors. Which was the only solution given. I have debilitating PTSD that makes it extremely hard for me to go into situations like that without having a break down, which was expressed to the operator I spoke to. They did not care nor did they offer any other ideas or ways to come to a resolution for the issue at hand even when asked what other options I had. So good luck in getting any assistance if you are disabled, elderly, and or infirm. The hours are a joke, Monday -Friday 8:30am to 5pm excluding holidays... you know because nothing happens pertaining to animal safety or nuisances between the hours of 5pm to 8:30am or on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

You need to call the police, 311, or Clark County Animal control biting dogs are unexpected and unacceptable 😤
Report to police and may have to file court action
Call the local shelter
Putting the animal at risk of hypothermia is not allowed.
Here is the deal; rabbits are considered " wild " animals. It is not something that animal control deals with. You might have to call a private company to deal with the rabbits. Good luck.
No. Adoptions are done through the Humane Society of SW WA on 192nd.
I would like to know what happened, did they pick up the opossum?
I call 311 and repot it. Unfortunately I have found 8 cats in the last year while I walk my dog. It normally takes them a couple weeks to get someone out for clean up.
