This is a great place for housing resources. I went to enroll in a class called Rent Well that gives landlord incentives and teaches about how to be a better tenant.

This place is not transparent. I don't trust them based on my interactions in person and on the phone with them. They said they have a Work Source but the lady wouldn't even let me use the computer terminal to look for jobs (in 2019). They are a monopoly. They don't give anyone any list of community shelters, so no one really knows what is out there if you need a shelter & no one gets shelter except through a referral from this clearinghouse. That's a monopoly. There is strength in diversity, not monopolies. They help people who you can tell are lying, people who actually are couch surfing. I knew they had certain funding and that they were deliberately not getting the word out even when I needed it. I persevered relentlessly until finally one representative said she suddenly remembered some funding she had forgot about, but she quickly added that it only had one spot (in 2019).

They do their best to help those who are open to their help. Their staff is for the most part exceptionally compassionate and caring about you and your situation. ESPECIALLY ALLEY!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND CARING WORDS YOU ARE THE BEST!!! THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN THIS WORLD. IT WOULD DEFINITELY MAKE A GREAT BIG DIFFERENCE!!! AGAIN THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

The money used to pay employee's to keep us homeless. Never hear or see humans being placed in a full time shelter or home/apt. But believe this they answer for animal's. We're treated worth then human.
Yes, they can! They have access to motel vouchers, shelters, different programs for individuals with different needs! If you have kids, they can help with that too!
Like the rest of us... Get ready to get yourself a tent because no one will help you much. We would help but that's us. We are homeless. Don't be fooled by all of these so called services the city offers because everything is full and has wait list. Even safe camping sites are full. So yeah get ready to experience Idiots that saw there mufflers off to make there already annoying noise even louder. Get ready for vehicular intimidation. And watch out for the LookieLoo (the people that hate the homeless... ) ANTI HOMELESS BRIGADE OF THE F*CKERY.. THE ONES WITH THE EUROPEAN/CANADIAN ACCENTS
I dint know I'd they do but I do know that right across the street is a church the living hope they help lots and lots of homeless south cloths food box's and v if I were in that position knowing what I know about being homeless I would take them there it soil get to the people that need the help. Hopefully it will get some where that helps rather then resales there donated items
The claim is they help us. They do not. They always say they have no funding to help...yet always seem to have money for paychecks. They don't provide showers or laundry services, food, clothing or housing. If anyone received anything from them...its selectively done and not equally. What They do do is provide a "housing assesmemt" to determine what programs you are eligible for. They need to be sued for fraud.
Just call them, explain your situation and you'll be provided resources. It's up to you to make a change.
Call daily at 9 am to see what is available.
Navigation center is permanently
They do, but it does depend on the bill and amount. It also depends upon what funds they have available.
