Booked this hotel online while my husband and I were driving from California back to our home in Texas. Got an exceptionally good rate for a queen bed and was even upgraded to a king upon check-in. So far, so good. Then we got to our room and it was beyond horrendous. Carpet so dirty that there's no way I would have walked on it barefoot. There was trash in both cans left by the previous resident and when I pulled the covers down on the bed, it was more than obvious that the sheets had not been changed. Unfortunately, you really do get what you pay for. The lady at the front desk was so nice and offered us another room in the main part of the building but we just couldn't bring ourselves to stay there one minute more. I was instructed to call the 800 number in order to pursue a refund but was cut off twice. When I finally talked to someone, it was obvious that English wasn't her first language. A refund has been initiated and that's about the only good thing about our experience.

The property was rundown. Our door lock was messed up/jammed. The carpet was old and seemed dirty. However, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The location was good.

We stayed in room 402 on Saturday July 10. The room looked clean and the bathroom looked clean until we went to use it. A drop of dried blood sat next to the toilet and a smear on the toilet seat. Hairs on the bathroom floor made me realize it had not been properly cleaned. After taking a shower in the morning the tub was over flowing due to lots of hair in the drain. I was going to complain at check out when I went to get my $100 deposit but the front desk was very friendly and didn’t get the courage. Just better cleaning!

Basic hotel stay. Decent stay for the price. Nothing fancy but the stay was comfortable enough to sleep for a couple of hours halfway to our final destination of San Diego. Coffee would have been nice if nothing else. But even without it, it provided a rest for weary travelers.
