Christa is the BEST!!!! I am the very LUCKY recipient of an incredible puppy (Duncan) who is now 4.5 months old. He has been an absolute joy! Christa's breeding program is beyond compare. She not only takes wonderful care of her sires and dams, she takes great pride and care in selecting puppies to match the needs of her future owners. I am in my 60s and a Golden is a big dog for someone my age. I am also recovering from a major surgery. Christa took great care in selecting Duncan (including doing an extensive temperament test) to ensure that Duncan was the right fit for me. I am eternally grateful to her!!! Duncan is a brilliant companion and we have bonded like best friends. He is eminently trainable and has been great at socialization with people and other dogs. Christa prepared me well with information about Goldens, what to watch out for (Duncan does like to put rocks in his mouth!!) and how best to feed and care for him. Everyone who has met Duncan has asked me where I got such a remarkable creature! I have given them Christa's name, website and contact information without hesitation. I know that any pup from one of her litters would be a great addition to the home of anyone considering a Golden. Christa - THANK YOU again for the gift of Duncan! Christa is passionate about goldens and it shows! Our experience with Christa was very different than our experience adopting our previous golden. She provided instructional videos before we picked him up (feeding, grooming, training), extensive instructions when we got him, and has been responsive with answering questions since he came home. She was willing to adjust our pick up time so that we could make a flight home because it would be the least stressful option for our pup. While her pups were more expensive than our previous golden, the savings with lower vet bills for our Whiskey Creek pup were far greater than the extra cost (and it was much less stressful). He has been very healthy since the moment we brought him home - not one upset tummy. He is very bright and took just days to toilet train. I would encourage anyone looking for a high quality golden to get on the waiting list - it is worth the wait!

My family and I could not be happier with our pup (Brooks) from Whiskey Creek Goldens. Though she is a busy woman, Christa runs a professional and caring operation. When we picked Brooks up, Christa went over EVERYTHING we should/could expect. We ended up having to treat for giardia but Christa had us totally prepared. And multiple people I know who got puppies from various places all had the same experience with giardia - it happens. Whiskey Creek’s prices are on the higher end of the spectrum but you get what you pay for. We are so satisfied we are talking about getting another puppy from Christa and Whiskey Creek.
