One of my favorite vacation destination spots here in the Pacific Northwest and especially throughout the San Juan Islands. The staff here are approachable, friendly and genuinely care for the quality your experience there. The marina staff were on point and the harbor master, Terry, was able to adapt to changes with a high level of courtesy and respect. Keep it up!

Raleigh

We stayed in the Roundhouse Suite to celebrate our birthdays. It was perfect for 2 people and it's SO nice having a separate building from other people. The furniture is outdated which isn't a big deal. The bed was really comfortable. We loved the suite and our only complaint was that it needed a really good vacuuming as there were food crumbs and dust bunnies under the bed and in the area by the fireplace. There was also a vase of dead flowers on the mantle, I think they were just overlooked. Wifi was not great but it encourages you to stay off your phone. I saw harbor seals and eagles in the mornings while sitting on the porch. We took a long walk around the grounds, the property is beautiful and while it could use some maintenance it is charming. We ate at the grill by the marina one night and our server was excellent. We also ate in the mansion for breakfast one morning, food was tasty. Make sure to check out the museum upstairs in the mansion and the shop in the basement. They have some really cute and different offerings. I am looking forward to my next trip to Rosario.

I did not stay at the resort but was a guest of a friend and their family who ate in the restaurant. I will say that the food was fantastic and the waitress was also great, however the bartender was very unprofessional and rude. I had been enjoying dinner with my friends who were staying with their immediate family and their child. We were sitting at a round table in the middle of the restaurant, and I could hear the bartender complaining about the computer system being down and being rude about the waitress asking him to make drinks for our group. I feel like he really lacked the kind of customer service this company represents. I completely understand being upset about a computer program not working for you while working, however that is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior. The bartender has salt and pepper hair, and while he was great at dealing with customers he clearly has some room to work on his behavior with the other employees.

Great historic place which takes you back in time. The views are amazing and the sense of relaxation can be beat.b you can sit out by the water and read and relax or go to the spa ( it may still be closed May 2022 due to COVID), where they have an indoor pool. For summer there are also two nice outdoor pools. The history is really interesting, go inside and read about it.
