Best Indian food ever!!! I am placing a to-go order to take home to Chelan. Worth the stop and the wait. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Tuesday night in the town center. We found the Claypit to be very quiet. We arrived shortly after 6:30 finding ourselves to be the only patrons. Service was slow and intermittent. Check-ins at the table were limited resulting in limited drink service. Food was fantastic with bold warm flavors. Spice level was inconsistent. Skip the Daal soup as it was underwhelming however, definitely try the spinach naan!

First of all these guys have no idea how to make a good biriyani. Biriyani was made with normal rice and not basmati rice. They had put raw cashews on top of it. The box was half full…as if they were trying to control the portion. Chicken was over cooked and bland. I could taste raw uncooked ginger masala in the food. Worst biriyani i have ever had. Called and told them it doesnt even remotely taste like biriyani and they said thats how they make it. The pic posted is what i got in the box and very small portions for something they charged $18.77. Avoid this place like a plague.

All of the dishes were delicious, however the vegetarian dishes were my favorite! The baingan bharta (eggplant) was my favorite. The onion Bhakti appetizer was a unique starter. The nan was delicious with the curries. We tried a rosemary nan that had a unique flavor with Indian cuisine. The servers were friendly and efficient!
