This is a budget motel. It has the basics,and the rooms well maintained. No breakfast. This is the second or third time I've stayed here and for $60-$70 I am pleased. It is also quiet.

First impression wasn't great. It seemed in a sketchy area. It's an older one story motel but I just needed it for one night. Check in was efficient though the office had a very strong curry smell. Entering the room, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach or other cleaning substance. I appreciate cleanliness but this was very strong and long lasting. Upon turning on the overhead light, multiple grease-like stains were in the bedspread. I understand it is hard to clean them but this gave me pause about staying there but I decided to stay. To be fair, everything else was fine. The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, etc. The night went fine but the bleach odor did not subside much and was in my clothing when I left. Overall, I would probably not return.

This motel is an older building BUT it is exceptionally well maintained, kept VERY clean, cleaner than many if not most of the newer motels I've stayed in, and nicely trimmed with a much newer looking interior than exterior. The nicely tiled shower is a nice touch after a long day on the road! Don't let the name or older appearance fool you, this is a GREAT place to stay! But it does live up to its name in that it was very reasonably priced.
