It's a nice park, pretty with lots of grass and some walking maze thing etched in the grass. I like the table / benches and the shade. Kinda hard to get to & theres alot of traffic on both sides circling the park at 35+ mph because no one does the speed limit. Other the a bum sleeping in the grass in the middle of the park, no one else was there. It was peaceful besides the noise from all the traffic around us. Also there is no play ground for kids.

It would be great . But there are too many people sleeping in the park . During the day it seems to attract many displaced people. However a permit can be attained for special use. And the park is cleared. So if 365 people got permits , would the park be cleared everyday?

This island park has public bathrooms, nice parking on one side fun paths to walk and a ton of homeless on the Friday morning I visited. The children's playground has signage to keep it reserved only for families. The Play ground has nice clean equipment and has a spongy rubber floor to run around on. Nice cement benches line the perimeter. I enjoyed the walking path maze. that is the signature feature of this park. At one end of this park is a tribute to movie makers. A small outdoor stage is often used for community gatherings. It was a cute park but I felt uncomfortable with the feeling of the many transients always watching me the whole time I wandered about.

Not a dog park but the community welcomes and encourages responsible dog owners to visit
I RECKON! They need go open it back up cause that is a waste of a beautiful SPACE!
There are to many homeless people washing in the sinks. Laying about Children don't feel comfortable. Why should the homeless people feel this is their 'daily home ' ? It disgusted me. And,if it shall be open to other than families, which is the original purpose, why, pray tell, should vagrants be allowed?
Yes. Huge!
To keep the drug deals out in the open
