Large park with walking track, dog park, and kids playground. Popular with local homeless.

JUST GO SUCK it

There can be a bit more effort to keeping the park clean. 😞 I am one of many that shows up at this park every third Sunday of each and every month to help assist the residents living there. We bring hot home made food, sweets, clothing, toys for the children, and love and respect to people who feel they have been forgotten. I personally, with other volunteers, walk the entire park and clean it each time we visit. It truly makes a difference to all those there. Please feel to join us any third Sunday to help our community feel loved!! ✌️🙏✌️

This place only good for one thing and that one thing is watching homeless people shoot up. They are all over the play areas, they shower in the splash pads and they have set up their homes in literally every gazebo. 0/10 unsafe for kids and adults alike.

If it wasn't for the homeless trashing the area and meth users it would be good literally had it blew in my face as I walked into the restroom

Questions & Answers

Why the gates around the park??? Ghetto park. Homeless people every where.

I've heard thsst Dean Peterson Elementary School, (The neighboring elementary school), is organizing parents and students for s "park clean-up". I don't know what good it'll do if "vagrants " feel "free" to lounge around even with the "little" bit of shade from thr "puny" trees scattered around.

The area is still a little rough. But there is also a dog park and a soccer field. I personally don't like the park because there is no shade 😕

Why isn't the city doing anything about the homeless problem at the park? There is needles, trash all over the place. I would never take my kids at the park again. The homeless even sleep in the slides. I mean they are all adults they should clean up

Clark county is addressing this problem with an ordinance that prohibits anybody from laying down on public sidewalks and other places like alleyways and driveways.

Is there a dog run in the park?

Yes they have three dog runs one large two small but you want to be very careful because I have found syringes and baggies on the ground and it's not very well kept up...
