Don’t stay here if you’ll be arriving at night. The parking lot was filled with loud people loitering after leaving the bars/clubs 1 street over. Our bathroom had obviously not been cleaned. Hair and coffee spills on the counter and in the sink, trash bag hadn’t been placed in the trash can. However, the towels were artistically folded and displayed. Makes me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned. If we hadn’t arrived in town at 1:30am after 15 hours of driving, we would have found another place to stay. Thoroughly disappointed, Marriott.

My husband and I were traveling with extra long vehicles and Alex at the front desk was extremely helpful with where to park and what restaurants to go to. We also needed to do laundry since this was not a planned stop. There was a problem with the ATM and I was unable to grab cash but Alex saved the day by helping out with that also. She is an asset to this hotel!!!

I stayed in a King room for 1 night during a road trip. The receptionist was brand new and tried her best to check me in though it took a little longer than I had expected. The rooms were really clean and good sized. Unfortunately, a large party with really unruly kids were staying in a room near mine so I dealt with screaming and running kids who banged on people's doors after 10 PM. Ogden sure is a cool place and I'd definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

This is an older property that doesn't do a terribly great job at hiding its age. Positives: Modern and updated lobby with Starbucks coffee, very inviting and courteous staff, modern touches in each room, and at least during my stay the prices were rather reasonable. However, looking even a bit past those you'll see many issues. The floor layout of the first floor is inconvenient and not intuitive, it's kind of a maze to get to finally get to the elevators. Additionally, the pool area just seemed rather forgotten and kind of dirty, something you'd expect at a much cheaper hotel. There were two main issues that really negatively affected my stay. Main issue was that the fire alarms throughout the building kept going off for about 10 seconds for, as far as I could tell, no reason in the middle of the night, just enough to jolt me awake. Like, I'm beyond words for how ridiculous that was. Second issue is, as many other people have said, you essentially have zero control over the temperature of your room. My room was adjacent to the pool so despite temperatures at or below 20F my room was sitting at about 80+F, then come to find that either you can only turn the heat on at full blast or not at all. Complained to the front desk and they said the best they could do was send up some fans, which we used to blow the surprisingly cool air in from the hallway. Overall the hotel and its issues warrant 2 stars but I'm giving one back due to how nice and pleasant the staff was.
