Positive: Air conditioning! First hotel that allowed the air to run all night without cutting on and off! It maxed out at 48 degrees too! Seriously it did. I didn't have it that low but it went down! Every hotel should have that capability. Negative: The rooms were on the small side. Sink in the room, etc. A family of 4 in a room would definitely bump into each other. The elevator was very noisy and didn't seem to be in good order.

Bed was great. Pillows went flat as soon as a head laid on it. Refrigerator had been turned off for awhile so smelled bad and gunk in freezer shelf. Opposite end from elevator but could hear it squealing all night. Breakfast options pretty skimpy. Not worth the $175 we paid.

I have stayed at this location frequently over the past 15 years or so. The hotel itself is in good shape, and the rooms and facilities also are well maintained. I am not a fan of the "stark, hard-surface" renovations that IHG has done, but at least the bed is very comfortable. The hotel wasn't full, but I was put next to another occupied room. The issue this trip was guests in the room next to mine, and in the surrounding area. It may be that they have never stayed at a hotel, but they came in at 11:30 PM, and were having loud conversations in the hallway. Just as I thought they stopped, it would pick up again. Each time I reached for the phone to call downstairs, they would quiet down. This happened both nights I stayed. Then, their kids would be running up and down the halls laughing and talking loudly, too. There was no consideration for the other guests who were trying to sleep. It would be great if the hotel would post signs in the hallways to respect "quiet hours" between 10PM and 8AM, and also figure out a way to let the room doors "soft close" instead of bang shut. That would go a long way toward assuring a quieter environment for all guests.

the best and cleanest hotel we’ve been in. we Are in between homes and we were going to move into a new home this month. So out of the last eight weeks my family and I love staying at this hotel the best. Especially because the staff is so nice and helpful and kind.

No. There's a sign as soon as you come up to the front desk that says no pets allowed
Holiday Inn was just off Washington Pike
