My family of five came to Deep Creek for a weekend getaway. We wanted a good steakhouse and read the reviews. Our experience was less than desirable. Our waitress was slow, waited 15 minutes for drink refills. Did not come and check on us after the appetizer. Our Tuna Tar Tar was bland, all one note. My husband and daughter got the Outlaw pasta dish. Noodles were over cooked, again no flavor. Our steaks were not seasoned at all. The baked potato looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. We talked to the manager, who seemed less than concerned. For the amount of money we spent, it was a terrible experience. We would not recommend it, unless you like throw money away

Service was amazing. Felt like I was invited home with Jamie waiting my table. Food was fantastic as well. Amazing pasta and steak. Appreciate giving us an amazing date night and helping us laugh and joke in friendly environment!

I was a little bit worried about this place after reading the response from the owner on multiple negative reviews below. Overall the experience was average. The service was good, friendly. The food was average but definitely feel you can get more bang for your buck at other places with similar quality. Overall would recommend and go back but wouldn't rush to do so.

One of the good restaurants at deep creek lake. Their price is definitely higher than other restaurants in the area, but at least you get to enjoy a decent meal, unlike at black bear tavern next door. The appetizer sriracha shrimp was pretty good, it was lightly breaded and the shrimp wasn’t overcooked. The lamp chops entree I got were a little over cooked for me, I ordered medium and it came out medium well. But at least they were still tender. But for $46, I expected the chef to cook it to my preferred temperature.

No.
It's about $60/pp in my experience, so likely $35/dog.
