We did not stay here, however after one conversation with the management they did refund our money. We did book last minute when we were expecting to stay at a family members house but they were potentially exposed to whooping cough so we chose to stay away from them before returning home. Due to the late circumstances we were forced to find accommodations for the night and booked via Priceline. when we arrived well after normal hours there was no one available to give us a room. it was late and we were tired, after several attempts to contact the after hours number, we moved on to another location. In the morning we called to see how we could make things right and after a short discussion with the manager a full refund was sent. Sorry for the problem but thank you for your understanding of the situation. We will not hesitate to stay next time.

For the love of all that is holy stay away from this place. The reviews are all correct. None of the issues mentioned in the last two years have been corrected. Mold on the ceilings. Peeling wallpaper. Loose and broken electrical receptacles. Smoked in rooms. Dirty sheets. Broken tv remote. Ceiling paint and drywall crumbling. No breakfast. No coffee in lobby. No elevator. Mattresses falling apart and severely bowed in the middle. This place should be condemned. The owners, “God Positive, LLC” are hiring for staff now. Maybe you can fix what they can’t?

Positive: This property is in a great location next to the ski slopes of Wisp, on the shores of Deep Creek Lake Maryland. Prices are reasonable. Television offered a very large selection of stations to watch, entertain the kids. Negative: Although this hotel has changed owners in the past 15 months since we last stayed there, there is still quite a bid of structural work that has not yet been accomplished (roofing, entrance portico, etc.)

Extremely unhelpful staff and poor cleanliness of room. Unfortunately, needed to cut trip short and was told by multiple staff and third party sites I would be fully reimbursed only to be told that was not possible (after multiple follow-ups). No accountability from anyone at this establishment. Do not recommend - spend the extra money and go to a reputable business!
