Holiday Inn Express Morgantown, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was perfectly serviceable. The pool was nice and I enjoyed the hot tub. There was a bit of a flub with check in, but the service was perfectly pleasant in spite of the issues. It looks like there are a few renovations going on. Can't wait to see what it looks like after.

Negative: Everything about this hotel was average except the shower. The shower was a walk-in shower with a hand held shower which I thought was going to be nice. The water pressure was so low that you could barely get wet.

Terrible, potholes going onto hotel road was terrible, the 3rd floor was under construction so noise. Construction workers slamming doors on second floor because they stayed there. Then going in and out of room at 3 am drunk. Beds felt like the roads pot holes in them. Would not recommend this place, the only reason we stayed is my daughter had a sports tournament and it was a stay to play place. It gets one star just because it was cold out and kept us warm

Positive: The staff, the room service, and the complimentary breakfast. I also enjoyed meeting some of the other guest while having breakfast. It was such a pleasant experience. Negative: I didn't like the tub which was grimy at the bottom. I was hoping to be able to run a hot bath while there, but after seeing the tub decided against it. There was a shower mat and it looked like it was being used to cover dingy ware and tare.
