Everybody’s Bike Rentals did an professional and thorough job of equipping me and my two teenage kids with city bikes to ride around Portland for 5 days. We are all different sizes- he is 5 11”, I’m 6 1”, and she is 5 4”, but the bikes were the right frame sizes and the seats were patiently adjusted for us when picked them up and test rode them . The bikes aren’t brand new, but they were all in excellent shape and perfect for fast rides in the city. I rented a cyclocross/gravel bike and the kids got fast city bikes. I work on bikes, so I really appreciated that the chains were clean and lubed, the brake pads fresh and well adjusted, the derailleurs shifted cleanly without over shifting so the chain didn’t get stuck between the spokes and cassette. They all had mid to high tier Shimano components. The upgraded flat pedals were like the ones I bought for my downhill mountain bike. Helmets, lockstep, and lights were all included so we didn’t have to fly with them. The helmets were clean and good quality- not generic Costco ones- they were lightweight and well vented for the unusual 103F temps. Plus the price for the week was much better than what I’ve paid in Seattle or Vancouver, so in my best book that’s a bargain:)) I recommend Everybody’s highly!

Amazing team, and super easy process. Loved meeting Ryan and the gang! Renting with Everybody's Bikes was an affordable, fun way to see Portland.

My cousin came to town and wanted to check out Gateway Green, we dropped in to Everybody's Bike Rentals, Ryan and Jonathan set cousin up with a KILLER Fuji Bighorn hardtail. Don't convince yourself the hardtail option isn't a quality bike! The big horn came with a SRAM eagle build, Teatro hydraulic brakes, and a buttery smooth 150mm dropper. The Bighorn's modern trail geometry with short chain/sest stays is INCREDIBLE. If I could give a 6/5 I would!

I'm local to Portland and rented a touring bike for a hard-packed gravel camping trip. The bike worked great and the shop service was excellent. I'm happy I rented here and would rent again if I needed another type of bike that I don't own for the weekend. I've never been to a more accommodating bike rental shop!

What happens to your bikes when they are 'retired' out of service

Howdy Connie, and thanks for the question! We usually keep our bikes on the job as long as they are safe and in good working order, replacing individual components as they wear. When a bicycle frame is damaged beyond repair, we salvage the useful parts and recycle anything that is no longer usable. Cheers, Everybody's

Where is the key drop for early returns?

It is on the front of the building, left of the door. It's a small hole the size of your fist lined by a bike gear.
