We stayed here over Fathers Day Weekend and enjoyed it. Located less than 2 miles from I70 the highway sound is present but not over bearing. I would guess this is due to the large amount of trees in the park. The campground is very nice. Bath houses and facilities were always clean and in good shape. We stayed at a travel trailer site with water and electric. The site was gravel and very level. I had to do no side to side leveling which was very nice. Site was well shaded and the grass was in good shape. We had no issues with no hook-ups at all, other than the cable not working, but that may have been on my end, I just wanted to try it out and only messed with it for around 5 minutes. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the sites are very snug and close together so be picky when selecting your site. The sites in the middle that are full hook-up don’t offer much shade at all. I found that the sites located in the loops were the best. If you can get a site that backs up to the creek go for it. The creek is very nice and clean. The fishing pond was also nice and clean. The pool is very large and seems to be newer. We went early and snagged some chairs because it fills up quick. If you have children I would definitely look into staying here, several different activities for the kids. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing get-away, I’d look into a state park. The park was pretty rocking until around 10:30pm. Not to the point were it was troublesome but certainly not quiet and relaxing. The camp store and cafe were both very nice. Cafe offered pizza and ice cream. As far as KOA’s ago this has been my favorite thus far. We’ll definitely be back.

Just a brief overnight stay on my way home after a winter sojourn in The South. Beautiful, well-kept grounds, large pull-through site, which is wonderful for overnight stays (no unhooking the tow required)! Easy access from my cross-country, yet, so quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The good, this place is full of activities, lots of things for the kids, the bath houses are actually nice and clean, campsites are nice and clean, the staff is super nice and friendly. There’s bike rentals, paddle boat rentals, pool, fishing, a creek where the kids can play, a nice playground and a doggie park. The bad, you can not choose your own site, they will give you whatever is available, our site was very muddy due to rain prior we arrived there, some sites were flooded like a swamp, saw a few camper that had to move because of the mud. The sites with a patio were very close to each other other than that most of the sites were spacious..

Wonderful friendly, helpful staff. They made us feel like family. Campground is clean, beautiful, and very family friendly. Would highly recommend this campground if passing by or planning trip.

Definitely have plenty of variety of RV set ups. I know I have seen some seasonal. I'm not sure exactly on how they would do long term or not, but will gladly answer questions with prices over the phone no problem!
We caught a largemouth bass and a few bluegill. The largemouth was about 14 inches. Just a bobber and a worm. Worms we bought at the KOA store.
