Well what can I say. Staff is less than friendly. Hard to even get them to stand up. Never a proper greeting even being a diamond member. None wear name tags so you can't tell who's not greeting you. Rooms were sub par. AC had a hard time keeping up. Walls were dirty. Beds weren't even properly made. Housekeeping just walked in my room on the second day without even a knock. Wasn't expecting that since they weren't offering services for the stay. You would be better going up minutes up the road.

This hotel is just ok. The room was modern, sheets were clean. Floor and couch in the room needed a vacuum. The pull out couch was full of crumbs. Breakfast was ok but the juice machine was leaking and had fruit flies. No pancake mix out for the pancake maker. The brewed coffee seemed stale or something. Overall 3 stars is fair. The area and location is great if you need a place to stay after a long day of driving on 70.

This was the final stay on my 7 night, 4 hotels in 4 different cities! The Dayton Holiday Inn Express was a great hotel to finish at! I had the opportunity to work with three of the best staff I've ever experienced in the IHG chains. (Rhonda - Front Desk; Tina - Breakfast; Haley - Housekeeping) These three all went the extra mile to assure that our stay was the best it could be - thanks to all three of these key staff.

The cleanliness and comfort of the room was better than most. The staff was very friendly and professional from the time of check-in through my stay to check-out. Their breakfast was good and well nourished. Dining area was clean.
