I loved this spot! Great food in the Oregon District. I sat outside and enjoy the scenery as people walked by. The charcuterie cheese board was lovely and gluten-free ravioli I would highly recommend. The espresso martini was also very collectible. For anybody looking for food in downtown Dayton this is a great spot.

I've been to Roost a couple of times and usually when I go here, the food I get is a hit. However, I went last night and I got the main entrée scallops and they were....ok! It wasn't bad, but it didn't have that usual "This is amazing, I wish I could eat this everyday" kind of feeling that I usually get when I come here. other than that, service was great, the bartender that served me was great, and they even let me eat at one of their appetizer tables since I was dining alone.

I went here about a week ago with my wife and we ordered the Ragu and it was so good! She said it was microwaved but I think her taste buds are still off from covid because I had every last bite. And kitchen staff made everything perfect. Best restaurant experience in my life, I will definitely be going again.
