When I checked in the person at the front counter was counting money and could not be interrupted. I'm thinking right down the amount you counted and help a customer don't make a customer wait. She asked the other person to check me in who was busy on their cell phone. They said they'd be right with me. They never helped me so the other person after counting the money helped me. Neither of the front desk people were dressed very professional in my opinion. Maybe a super 8 older hotel but not Marriott standards. I walked into the room it had a specific body odor, room 204. It was late at the time around midnight. I thought perhaps it was because the air was not circulating so I turned on the window conditioner to get some air from the outside. Then a while later I turned on the air conditioner - the room was somewhat stuffy. When I went to bed a few hours later I noticed the top 2 pillows reeked of the same odor. I did not want to wait for clean pillows or someone to come to the room so I went to bed. The 2 pillows underneath did not smell as bad so I used them. The bedding also smelled. I was very disappointed in this hotel and do not feel it lives up to the Marriott. When I checked out I shared my concern. The front desk person seemed attentive, was dressed more professional, a different person today and said she would make cleaning aware of my concerns. When I walked outside their was a person who was staying there from Canada - her car was stolen the night before in the parking lot. I told her there is a camera right on their roof facing the parking lot go in and see if they can pull the footage, then also call the police. Based on my experience of cleanliness and the atmosphere of this hotel I probably would never stay there again nor can I confidentially recommend this Marriott living up to the reputation of what I expect when I am staying at a Marriot. Thus a poor rating I believe is in line with this particular hotel.

Positive: I like the space has a full kitchen and closet space a large desk with more storage cubbies above. I like the hotel the beds are horrible had to buy memory foam ! But our discount disappeared & I was woke up by a supervisor to give my IDand CC. Negative: On our 1st nt We got in late we walked in the room and the door handle came off so we went down stairs apparently there was 0 room to move us 2 so he did his best to fix and said a order would b put in and discounted we stayed in that room for 10 day¿s

I reserved two rooms for our stay, and had asked to not be on the first floor. Unfortunately, we were placed on the first floor anyway (I have understand that they can't guarantee the requests). Interestingly, the TV in my sister's room was about half the size of the one in my room, so don't assume all rooms are created equal. Breakfast choices were definitely impacted by covid protocols. Only pre-wrapped foods or oatmeal were available, so just be aware of that. We have two main complaints about the stay: 1) the hallway reeked of pot the whole time we were there 2) the keys to one room stopped working twice during the stay. We went to the front desk to get new keys and neither time did they ask us for any identification or even our name. They just gave us new keys. It would be good to see a little more security around this process.

We stay here every time we travel across country. We have a small dog, and this hotel is always welcoming of us and our dog. But the main reason we stay is because it is extremely clean. For a hotel that accepts dogs, this is so important. Everything about the place is extremely clean. it was remodeled within the past 5 years, and everything still looks fresh. Further, the price is reasonable. Although I have given 5 stars, this isn't a luxury hotel. But it is clean, modern, efficient and well priced. We will keep coming back!
