Very cute very quaint place I found what I was looking for by chance and something extra. Will be back!

What a really neat store! Reminds me of Powell's, when it first opened years ago. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere, where one can find a literary treasure, have a cup of tea, then get lost in the ambiance. Way to go! Vancouver needs more places like this one.

What a sweet little book store. I wish I lived closer. The owner is lovely and the selection is unique. The art is also really wonderful throughout. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves books pops in and enjoys this quiet beautiful shop.

We get lots of donations (& we are so thankful!). Additionally, some of our books are sourced by the owners through the Goodwill Outlet, estate and garage sales, and through friends and family.
Sometimes—generally, we will only consider purchasing rare or unique vintage books. Please feel free to contact us if you have books fitting these guidelines! We do accept donations and offer a 20% discount in return.
We gravitate towards classics, philosophy, poetry, and scifi ourselves. Our favorite authors include Joan Didion and Kurt Vonnegut; two of our favorite books are Marcus Aurelius' Meditations and Joy Harjo's How We Became Human. Yes, we do! Customers are welcome to drop off donations any time during our operational hours. We also offer a 20% discount on any purchases made the same day of the donation (minimum 5 books donated).
We pride ourselves on having a diverse book selection and aim to supply a variety of books so that everyone may find something they're interested in. We stock just about every genre, from art history to modern politics and cozy mysteries to cookbooks. Of course, we do have our own favorite genres, including philosophy, poetry, and classics.
