Update: I was contacted by the Branch Supervisor who was able to work with me to get the Dormant fees reversed. The process took many days but in the end they have corrected the situation. I am revising my review to 4 stars. Thank you for working with me Harborstone. Original Post: I have been a customer with Harborstone Credit Union South Hill branch for over 20 years. I have had car loans, savings and checking accounts with this establishment. I recently learned that they have taken over $120.00 out of my account that was used for VA Disability Check Deposits due to inactivity. I went into the branch office 4 times and spoke with everyone including the manager who will not reverse these charges. I strongly suggest you rethink banking with a company who would do this to their long standing customers. I have spent many hours attempting to get my money back and will continue to do so until the money is refunded.

I have been banking with Harborstone Credit Union since 1993. They make it very easy to apply and get fast approval for loans throughout the years. Great customer service, never had any issues. They are also very on top of things with credit card fraud or questionable transactions even.

Miss Sade was the most awesome person to help me arrange a loan after acruing some medical bills. She was professional,courteous and fun . Someone who can make this tedious process easy and fun is an accomplishment in itself. I cannot state highly enough the level of explanation she gave me for all factors as I left feeling completely informed. I have been a Harborstone customer for quite a while now and enjoy every visit I make to Harborstone. Absolutely reccommend visiting and banking with Harborstone due to dedicated folks like Miss Sade.
