As a first timer at this farmer's market. I was impressed!! - 1st was the large parking lot close by that asks for donations for parking. I gladly gave the young man at the "gate" $3.00. - This market has a large number and selection of quality vendors, with a variety of products. (Market takes up 3 city blocks!) I bought from 4 different vendors. A delicious Salsa, fresh tortilla chips, bread and some local grown berries. - A added bonus is this market is a short walk to the newly renovated Waterfront with water fountain highlighting the Columbia river. This is a great way to start your Saturday or weekend off...

Compared to Portland's market, I love the Vancouver one much more. The produce, plants and the artist boothes are combined and very family friendly.

Cute little place you can go to walk around and see dogs. Oh, they also have home-made goods as you would expect. The highlights for me are the food trucks, shortbread lady, and produce folks. People seem so happy here. It's part of the reason I like to come. There's a coffee stand with black everything on their signs, white letters. I forget the name but BEST COFFEE anywhere around here. A newcomer is the egyptian food tent. It was so good! I can definitely recommend these, but everything else seems good here too. It's clean and smells great. Also a good place to sign petitions if you're a registered voter.

Decent farmers market. Well attended. Good selection of local produce and crafty things made by local artisans. Occupies 2 streets bordering Esther Short park in downtown Vancouver. March 2022--UPDATE---This weekend just opened for the season. Just OK weather but a healthy turnout of market goers and market sellers.

I just Googled "Vancouver area farmers markets" and got quite a few.
Yeah and other cheeses.
There's at least two there currently (2019 season) Ash Tree Farms and Rick's Wild Mushrooms. The farmers market provides an interactive vendor map on their website -- super helpful!
The 17th of March is when they open this year. They are there every weekend from then on.
yes, on leash, and reasonably well behaved dogs are welcomed you will see lots of dogs there
Hi Sharon, The Vancouver Farmers Market is still offering market box subscriptions this season, but the online store has been closed. We hope to see you at the market!
Who can I call for details about becoming a vendor at the Vancouver Saturday Market?
GREAT Question ‼️ I'd say your BEST Bet is to check the @Information near the center N.W. corner of the Park & GOOD Luck👍‼️
Unofficially it appears to be pet friendly, there are many dogs around.
Yes
Each potential vendor must be approved by the related committee before you are accepted to sell at the market. Membership per calendar year is $35. Space rent is $50 a day for each 10x10 space in our Downtown Market You must have a Washington State Business License, and applicable license and insurance certificates unless told otherwise. The spaces are 10'x10'. You are not required to come every weekend, but you must schedule dates when you apply in accordance with our Attendance Policy. Visit: https://www.vancouverfarmersmarket.com/vendors.php
I believe they do have elephant ears and they are probably good but I didn't have any I was in Vancouver visiting my family, and we went there. They do have a lot of other nice things to look see and buy.
Hi Arlet. Street parking is free on the weekends. Visitors can also park in marked lots for a small donation.
The best times are often right at the opening of the market (also the best time to buy the freshest produce). However, on days that are forecast to be very warm, we have a lot of early shoppers and later in the day will be less busy. Hopefully you discover a time that works for you to come enjoy the market!
Hi Diana. You can still use the same parking lot when you visit the market. Hope to see you soon!
We do have an ADA porta potty near the corner of 6th & Esther in our market. I also believe that the bathrooms in Esther Short Park are ADA compliant.
The market is open Saturday from 9AM-3PM and Sunday from 10AM-3PM, the market will not be open the Monday of Memorial Day however, thanks!
There's a farmer's market during spring and summer at the Columbia Tech center, but I believe it's on Thursdays.
