Beautiful scenery, paths in nature to walk through, nice lake to swim and have fun in... Nice area for picnics and reserved gatherings.

Nice lake, nice facilities (bathrooms not open today) but lots of shade, hammocks places and trees!!

Lovely little lake. Kayak access could be improved, you have to weasel your way around a gate and trek through the picnic area to haul in.

Recently went here for the first time. Wonderful trails so far. I am lookinh forward to exploring it more!! Its a once a week stop for me at the moment until the dogs and I can find all the trails!

Yes. The lake is open for access to non-motorized devices. There are no formal launch facilities.

You can swim here... But you should be VERY CAREFUL... ... back in the day it was known as the "drowning lake " because so many kids died here...because of the fallen logs in the water...... I think you can find out more in either Wikipedia or google...regaurdless be careful.
