Savory ramen spot in downtown San Diego that serves small bites, poke, and both classic and unique takes on ramen. My personal favorite is their Mexican fusion carnitas ramen. Plus don’t miss happy hour for discounts on appetizers.

We came here for lunch because we saw it had good reviews and I'm a big fan of tonkotsu ramen. My husband and I both got the Tajima Ramen, which is a tonkotsu broth, and we both got it with the pork belly. My son got gyoza and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious. The broth on the ramen is comfortably the best I've had in California so far and the pork belly was lovely. Very satisfying. Wish I had more time to try each ramen, but just here on a short visit.

Got the Tajima ramen, Spicy Seseme Ramen and the spicy tuna hand roll. They have changed(gotten worse) since the last time I came here in Feb 2021. Or maybe my ramen standards have increased. The broth was nice but the noodles were horrible. It was lke instant ramen noodles. Another thing is that you have to order first, pay, and then get seated and get your food. I dont mind that but it seems like a fast food restaurant culture like Mcdonalds or KFC. no one came in and checked on us either. No one was rude or anything btw. They were just busy I guess.

Ramen was tasty. Brussel sprout tempura was a bit large and hard to bite into without burning your tongue from the steam. I wish they made them smaller. I did like the matcha passion fruit refresher. Excellent service.
