I am a faithful Tajima customer. Really no other ramen spot in San Diego is better. This location is the closest to my house and it can get busy weekend nights but the staff is always friendly and attentive.

Excellent Ramen Restaurant! Service was top notch with a cozy outdoor dining area! Atmosphere was upbeat but chill! A must try! Heads up, parking is limited in the area.

This is by far one of my favorite ramen restaurants in all of San Diego, now only if there was parking! The poor parking plays no part in this review due to the area it is in. It is the price you pay. I have been to the three Tajima Ramen restaurants and this one is the best by far. The quality is far better here than the others and how the food is prepared. The staff is wonderful here and very nice. The restaurant is well kept and always being cleaned. They also have monthly specials which are great as well. Yes, sometime orders can take time to come out due to being a very busy restaurant, but they do have slow times of the day. Can't fix parking since space is and they didn't design the building or streets. Expecting food to be made exactly to your ideals is wanting to much. They are willing to work with you on how the food is made so just ask next time! March of 2019 has had the best monthly special yet! It is Curry Ramen! Update: The best ramen if the year so far is the Green Coconut Ramen (a.k.a Frankenstein Creation) in September/October of 2020. Update September 19th 2021: I am going back through all my reviews of restaurants to be more stringent and to compete my due diligence of each. I have set forth three rules that all restaurant will need to follow to get a three star rating. The three rules for restaurants is the keep it fresh, keep it clean, and keep it simple! Getting a four or five star will become harder, but not impossible! Why? Well, people rating poor restaurants as five stars when they are barely a two or three is commonplace in Google Maps and I would like to fix this problem.
