I am a beginner gardener here in Central Oregon and have not had any luck what so ever getting things to grow over here like I used to over in the Valley. I went into BIGS to get some potting soil (other than the typical miracle grow...gross) and the staff was just fantastic! They explained to me in detail about the difficulties that growing anything in Central Oregon and offered many suggestions to help me succeed. The manager Ashley was absolutely amazing and so positive and encouraging! Not to mention their shop dog is just the cutest!!!! I know I will be going back to them again in the future. What a wonderful atmosphere and place to be able to get actual knowledge from experience while shopping local! Thanks everyone :)
