Food was good, but I wish we had the view of the river and the mountains

The restaurant has changed locations with the new owner- Holiday Inn. It used to be located at the back of the hotel and offered stunning views of the Columbia River, Mt St Helens and Mt Hood. But alas, they are rented out only for private groups. sigh. Still, the food was good. I had two eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast and husband had biscuits and gravy. Both were good, served hot with friendly server. Two entrees and two coffees was $30 without tip. You order at the cash register and then seat yourself in a large dining area and a server brings your food. Or you can take out. Plenty of parking, and restrooms available. This restaurant is close to home and worth another visit.

Quiet, relaxed atmosphere with awesome river views. Out of town friend had stayed over at Red Lion Inn. She asked me to meet her at the hotel restaurant. I had not ever been here before. What a delightful place to eat and visit. Our timing was great as many hotel guests were in and out of here already. It was too early for any lunch crowd. Reading the other reviews explains how the main business for this place was evening drinks and dinners. Lovely furnishings coupled with local history photos which appeared in giant size format reveal designers decorated this landmark with class and a big awareness of the past. I wish I could speak well of the food. The wait staff was attentive when we needed them and scarce when we didn't. Coffee was good and bottomless. Views were main asset of the place. Restroom was clean and designed to be impressive.

Yes the red lion has both Tesla and conventional free charging stations
Dogs are allowed. I thought the place was way over priced. You pay more for a dog room and then end up in the worst part of the hotel. There was an old cracker on the floor and everything was dusty. The pool was okay though.
Hello, We do not guarantee that you will be able to see the fire works from our Hotel. However, historically you can see them from a viewing area on our deck. Many of our rooms feature river views but typically you can not see the fireworks from the guest rooms. Thank you for your question. Kind Regards, Grace Lial Assistant General Manager
Hello Jack, The Cruise Line docks at the Hotel. Grace Lial Assistant General Manager
There is not an airport shuttle, but ridesharing is easily available. There is a local shuttle that will take guests to restaurants, etc. within a 4 mile radius.
